“PROLES” CHAMPIONSHIP ON SCHOOLCHILDREN’S PROFESSIONAL SKILL TOOK PLACE IN ARKAHNEGLSK
5 labs, 3 sites, 40 participants. The championship “PROLES” is a final stage of the scale profession oriented project “Staff reserve of the forest industry: reload”.

““Staff reserve of the forest industry” is a co-project of Titan Group and SAFU supported by the President’s Grants Fund, - Director of HR for LLC PKP Titan Anna Trofimova told. – It started in the beginning of 2021 and turned out really uniting. Educational institutions of all the levels, regional authorities and the largest enterprises of the region forestry industry came together in order to inspire the youth to work in the forest. Together we could acquaint more than 800 schoolchildren with forest professions not only from Arkhangelsk and Novodvinsk but also from Pomorie districts”.

A number of actions under the project has been realized over the year: master-classes, “on-site labs”, excursions to the production facilities, profiled shifts and kwizes… They told the children about forest professions with ease and soul! The project ended with none the smaller finishing action – the championship “PROLES”.

Here the children were able to use received knowledge in practice. Thus, at the laboratory “timber harvesting production” based in CJSC Sawmill 25 the schoolchildren had to do unrolling and calculate the timber in stacks. The mill professionals supervised the children’s work: Svetlana Tsybina and Elena Kravnikova as well as SAFU specialists. The experts indicated that despite the assignment difficulty the kids worked well and with great enthusiasm! A similar eagerness was noted in the other 4 labs too.

The championship finished with an award ceremony. The schoolchildren received prizes, congratulations, photo session and more importantly perspectives. Now they can become a part of a big, strong team and build a professional pathway of their development in the region
